Description: Vista Learning Center is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from March-June. If you’re a dynamic Special Education Teacher wanting to provide instruction to adolescents who require focused, real-time instruction integrated with social thinking and executive functioning skills come join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, lesson planning and instruction of all required content areas; community-building activities; development of experiential activities; and parent and district communication. Must also be willing to plan and take part in adventure-based activities within a small team, and participate in extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have an NH Teaching Licensure, knowledge of Curriculum Standards, knowledge of special education, alternative instructional strategies, learning disabilities, autism, PBIS, ABA, use of technology, and behavioral and social thinking strategies. Must possess strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and work well with others.
