Position Overview:
RSEC Academy is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to meeting the diverse needs of students with learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a small school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades 5–12

  • Provide direct instruction in core academic subjects, differentiated to meet individual student needs

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including counselors, speech-language pathologists, and support staff

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

  • Communicate regularly with families and sending school districts

  • Create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid NH Certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain)

  • Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Experience working with students with a range of disabilities including emotional/behavioral disorders, ADHD, and learning disabilities

  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
