Eligibility
Sunrise Children’s Center is an inclusive early childhood education and childcare center. We believe that all children grow at their own pace and learn best by doing. Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate program that fosters cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth at each stage of development.
 
Tuition
Tuition is based on the program selected for your child. A 10% discount is given to a second child enrolled in a full-time program. Two weeks vacation credit is given to full-day children enrolled by September 30th.

School Age Program
Sunrise offers programming for students up to age 10. Programs include before and after school care, vacation days/weeks, snow days, delayed openings and summer care. Activities include homework time, arts and crafts, outdoor fun, cooking, and games.

Curriculum
The core of Sunrise’s curriculum revolves around The Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood Education. The curriculum focuses on the classroom environment in order to support learning and creativity in children. Teachers use theme based units to enhance language development, preschool concepts, and social skills.

Calendar
Sunrise is open weekdays, 7 am to 6 pm for our full day programs. Our part-time programs follow the Amherst School calendar. Sunrise is open year round but is closed for one week in August and major holidays.
