Alison received her BA in Communication at the University of New Hampshire in 2001. After her first job where she taught adults to create television, she realized that she really enjoyed teaching.  Alison comes to the Academy after working in a psychological hospital for children. 

Alison was hired at the Academy in January of 2003.  Originally she was hired to cover a maternity leave, however she has hung around since then.  Alison has taught English, Math, Health, Study Skills and currently is only teaching Consumer Math, Health and Study Skills.

Alison is expected to finish her M. ED in Special Education in May of 2006, also from the University of New Hampshire.  Alison is currently completing her student teaching at the Heron Pond Elementary School in Milford where she is working with 3^rd and 4^th graders.  Her day continues here at the Academy where she works with students in her classes as well as case managing two student’s IEP’s.
