Experiential Education

At the Academy we believe that Experiential Education is just as important as classroom education and work hard to meld the two together. Students can expect to participate in a variety of experiential education activities while here at The Academy.  This list below is by no means everything we do but gives students an idea.

Hands on Learning in the Classroom

Fall Trip-The whole school embarks on a 3 day adventure somewhere in the New England area.

Intensives-week long intensive learning experiences that focus on one topic such as winter survival or personal wellness.

Team Building Activities with the whole school, grade level advisories or other small groups.

Cross Curricular Unit Trips-These are a means to culminate a unit and demonstrate learning.
